CMass Contacts is a database built from your Gmail sending history. Every time you email someone through Gmail, CMass adds them to your contact list and tracks the relationship — when you last emailed them, how often you communicate, and your engagement score.
What CMass Contacts shows
- ▸Every person you've emailed (or who has emailed you) in your connected Gmail account
- ▸Their first name, last name, and email address (as extracted from email headers)
- ▸A relationship score based on email frequency and recency
- ▸Whether they've been marked as dormant (no interaction in 90+ days)
How to import from Contacts
- 1Open CMass from the compose window
- 2Go to the Recipients tab and click the '👥 Contacts' source tab
- 3Click 'Load CMass Contacts' — this pulls up to 500 contacts
- 4Use the search box to filter by name or email
- 5Click '+ Add' next to individual contacts, or 'Add all X →' for the entire filtered list
Searching and filtering
The search box filters contacts by name or email in real time. Use it to find specific people or narrow down a segment — for example, search for a company domain to add everyone from that company.
💡 CMass shows up to 500 contacts at a time. If you have a large contact base, use the search filter to find the segment you want — for example, filter by domain to target a specific company or industry.
Tips for using Contacts effectively
- ▸Check the 'Dormant' count in the CMass popup — these are contacts who haven't heard from you in a while and may be good targets for a re-engagement campaign
- ▸The relationship score helps you prioritize your warmest leads — sort or filter by score if your outreach strategy varies by relationship strength
- ▸Contacts are synced in the background — if you've sent email recently, new contacts may appear after a few minutes
