Plans, upgrading & billing

What's included on the Free plan, what Pro unlocks, how the Team plan shares a contact pool, and how upgrading, renewals, and cancellation work.

CMass has three plans: Free, Pro, and Team. You can do real work on Free; Pro removes the sending caps for when you're ready to scale up; Team adds a shared contact pool and analytics for working alongside colleagues.

Free plan

Every CMass account starts on Free. You get the full toolset — Gmail mail merge, merge tags, optional AI personalization, follow-up sequences, the Contact Intelligence sidebar, tracking, and image hosting. The one limit is campaign size:

  • Up to 50 recipients per campaign
  • All core features included
💡 The 50-recipient limit is per campaign, not a lifetime cap — Free is genuinely usable for smaller outreach. If you try to launch a campaign with more than 50 recipients, CMass will prompt you to upgrade.

Pro plan

Pro removes the per-campaign recipient cap so you can send to your full list (within Gmail's own daily sending limits, which always apply). You keep every feature from Free — Pro is about volume, not unlocking tools.

Team plan

Team is for working alongside colleagues out of one shared workspace. It includes everything in Pro for every seat, plus a shared layer that solo plans don't have:

  • Up to 5 seats — the owner invites teammates by email, and they join in one click
  • A shared contact pool — one source of truth instead of separate, overlapping lists
  • Shared relationship history & scores — any seat sees the engagement and touchpoints a teammate's campaigns created, so you don't cold-email someone a colleague already knows
  • Team-wide unsubscribe & bounce suppression — one opt-out protects everyone
  • A team analytics dashboard that rolls up every member's campaigns
  • 2,000 emails per day, which pairs naturally with a Google Workspace account
💡 Inviting a teammate doesn't cost extra within your 5 seats. If someone leaves the team (or you remove them), they revert to their own solo account and the contacts they brought stay with them.

Setting up a team has its own walkthrough — see the 'Set up your team and invite colleagues' guide.

How to upgrade

Upgrading takes one click — there are no codes or keys to copy anywhere:

  1. 1Click Upgrade to Pro — from the plan screen, or from the prompt that appears when a campaign goes over the Free recipient cap.
  2. 2Enter your payment details on the secure checkout and confirm.

That's it. The moment your payment goes through, your account flips to Pro and the recipient cap lifts right away — no extra steps, no signing out and back in.

Renewals & cancellation

Pro renews automatically each billing cycle. You can cancel anytime — your Pro features stay active through the end of the period you've already paid for, then your account simply returns to Free. Your contacts, campaigns, reports, and history all stay intact; you're just back under the 50-recipient-per-campaign cap until you upgrade again.

Checking your current plan

Your current plan is shown in CMass's billing section, and it always reflects your live subscription status — so it stays accurate right after an upgrade or a cancellation.

⚠️ CMass never sees or stores your card details. Payment information is handled entirely by a secure, PCI-compliant payment processor — CMass only ever receives whether your subscription is active.
