Plans, upgrading & billing

What's included on the Free plan, what Pro unlocks, and how to upgrade with a Whop license key — plus how renewals and cancellations are handled.

CMass has two plans: Free and Pro. You can do real work on Free; Pro removes the sending caps for when you're ready to scale up.

Free plan

Every CMass account starts on Free. You get the full toolset — Gmail mail merge, merge tags, AI personalization, follow-up sequences, the Contact Intelligence sidebar, tracking, and image hosting. The one limit is campaign size:

  • Up to 50 recipients per campaign
  • All core features included
💡 The 50-recipient limit is per campaign, not a lifetime cap — Free is genuinely usable for smaller outreach. If you try to launch a campaign with more than 50 recipients, CMass will prompt you to upgrade.

Pro plan

Pro removes the per-campaign recipient cap so you can send to your full list (within Gmail's own daily sending limits, which always apply). You keep every feature from Free — Pro is about volume, not unlocking tools.

How to upgrade

CMass billing is handled through Whop. Upgrading is two steps:

  1. 1Purchase Pro on the CMass Whop product page (reachable from the upgrade prompt in the extension). Whop handles the payment.
  2. 2Whop gives you a license key. In CMass, paste that license key into the upgrade/activation field and confirm.

As soon as your key is validated, your account flips to Pro and the recipient cap is lifted immediately — no need to sign out and back in.

One key, one account: A Whop license key can only be activated on a single CMass account. If you see an 'already activated on another account' message, you're trying to reuse a key that's tied to a different login.

Renewals, expiry & cancellation

CMass checks your membership status with Whop. If your Whop membership lapses or you cancel, your plan automatically returns to Free — your account and data stay intact, you're just back under the 50-recipient-per-campaign cap until you renew.

💡 Payments, receipts, renewals, and cancellations are managed in Whop, not inside CMass. To change or cancel your subscription, manage it from your Whop account.

Checking your current plan

Your plan status is shown in CMass's billing section. It reflects your live Whop membership, so it stays accurate even if a renewal or cancellation happened recently.

⚠️ CMass never handles your card details. All payment information lives with Whop, the billing provider — CMass only ever receives whether your membership is active.
